With all the radio station contest running, and wiht the most infamous Hold you Wee Contest that killed somebody, here is another twist to the radio station contest. In a news covered by FoxNews, Undocumented Woman Sues Chicago Radio Station Over Unrewarded Corvette.
Juice of the story “A 22-year-old woman is suing a Chicago Spanish-language radio station over allegations that they refuse to give her the car she won in a contest because she’s undocumented.”
There is two sides to the coin, one, the lady is an illegal and has no social security # which makes her illegal (in the country) and therefore, ineligible to receive the prize cos a SS # is needed for the station to inform the IRS.
But I think the station should have announce, “Car giveaway contest, terms apply” like what you would hear for those annoying car commercials.
